JASON THOMPSON FOUNDATION
HEALING HEARTS BY SHARING OURS
OUR MISSION
The Jason Thompson Foundation is a 501 (C) (3) organization dedicated to creating healthy lifestyles for children and young adults by providing the resources and social support needed to live each day as active, heart-healthy individuals. To L.I.V.E. (Learn.Imagine.Voice.Educate.) by example and bring awareness to heart disease.
OUR INSPIRATION
Tiffany Carroll was a seemingly healthy and active young adult and athlete. At just 25 years old, she lost her life to a disease known as Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). This loss inspired her cousin, professional basketball player Jason Thompson, to form our foundation so that we could honor Tiffany’s memory by raising awareness about heart disease in athletes, children and young adults.
OUR PASSION
As an organization that values the importance of physical health and education, our aim is to service the community and positively influence children and young adults in unique and effective ways. None of this would be possible without the support of passionate people who want to make the world a better place one heart at a time.
OUR BELIEF
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the heart health challenges children and young athletes face. It's our belief that we can heal hearts by sharing ours, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. Join us in our fight by making a donation today.
